Ervine S. Okuboh is a UK, London based economic and business development practitioner. In his early career he was a consular officer for the Nigeria High Commission in the UK, His business and economic development career in the last 40 years has included holding many senior managerial positions within UK public and private sector institutions, encompassing local, regional and central government departments.
His economic development career commenced in 1986 and he became one of the UK’s first enterprise agency directors in the United Kingdom, leading teams of business development advisors assisting SME business growth in the Greater Manchester and Merseyside regions He has also held many senior managerial positions within UK local, regional and central government departments including the Departments of Environment, Business Enterprise and Regulatory Skills (BERR) and London Regional Government.
Ervine maintains a network of business spanning local, regional, national and international regions, attained at the highest level since 1986. He has delivered and presented infrastructure projects to heads of state and senior government officials in the UK, Nigeria, Barbados, Jamaica and the USA; including co-managing the largest business, skills and economic regeneration programme in Europe. From 1992 to 2016, he also co-managed £12.3 billion worth of regeneration programmes in Liverpool, Manchester Leeds and four major regeneration programmes in London.
Ervine was appointed in January 2025, as our Senior Strategic Advisor, bringing an enormous wealth of experience, knowledge and skills in the economic development business sector,currently providing strategic advice and advisory services for a number of flagship, infrastructure projects in the UK and sub-Saharan Africa. He is currently spearheading our development and implementation of innovation and technology/fintech programmes in selected Commonwealth countries.
